This blog is meant as a starting off point for cooks like me who love looking to others for interesting, vegetable-based dishes and then getting creative. I became a much better cook once I started thinking of recipes as flexible templates rather than immutable doctrines. Everyones’ ingredients, tools, and palates are different, and what might be perfect in another kitchen requires an extra bit of this or that in mine.  I include any recipes I work off of, suggestions for adaptations, and even measurements on the odd, miraculous occasion I manage to keep track of them.
